It's available in charcoal and oak, with a range of melange fabrics that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when attached to her bed, with the legs securely clicking into the frame and the zips securely secured to ensure baby safety. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support contact number should you have any problems.

Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a bedside crib, like being able to connect to your existing bed with a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to ease reflux or congestion in babies. It's also machine washable, a essential feature for all the dribbles and vomit that comes with having a newborn!

The CoZee is a fantastic option for keeping your child in the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it could be converted into a bed. It isn't able to feed your baby, or magically put them to sleep it will rock them and send them off!

This is one of Chicco's more expensive alternatives. However, it comes with numerous excellent features. It's easy to use, even for one-handed operation. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as retractable feet for a secure installation under any bed.

Our testers loved the ease of access the side panel provides, which can be moved up and down with just one push of one button. This was particularly useful at night, as they could reach in and pick up their baby without waking them up.

The side panel can be lifted on its own, but it's not recommended as this increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot.
