World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.

For instance, a weapon with the upgrade template that is ending in % will take on 3damage to attack each time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor to give them a boost in stats or an extra effect. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment that has a slot. The item must be upgraded to a blue level before a component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and Ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could be prefixed or a suffix that alters the name of the item to which it is used (for example "Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time; each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will appear at the time of the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue improving their equipment, even if they're unsure of how much they'll increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be costly and it's possible that the item will become obsolete or even break in the event that the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the risk of failure. Some upgrades also offer a bonus if they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade components which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs are upgraded in various ways, and we suggest getting them up to level 15 as soon as you can.

It is commonplace to see in the final game that placing Glyphs is a great method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes faster.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced with the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a specific range of values it can improve a statistic by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase the glyphs with certain tools that allow unlimited use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, therefore it is best to place Glyphs in the most important spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids, for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may also want to consider placing them near their most critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is commonly known as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385. Each level of item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of the crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used for upgrading an item. Once enough points are earned you will be able to claim the upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.

When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. The same armor will be upgraded to the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This could be a drawback in that the item could become more expensive even if you don't need it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, if the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do so. This will cause the item upgrader to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will come with a level 1 base and a totally different set of bonus bonuses. This can be useful but it shouldn't be done often as it could waste resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times, increasing their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as a dolphin). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the max roll by an increment of 10. This item is extremely valuable in PvP, as the best version of it can be worth between 20 and 50x its value if it is not upgraded.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to increase the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate currency and items to an item upgrader (look at this site) NPC. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of that piece, while upgrading weapons will increase the damage base and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear that can be upgraded up to eight times. Every time you upgrade an object it is at risk of failing. The rate of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures can cause the item to revert to its initial state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it gained, such as the chance to crit, attack damage, or other effects (such as increased heal over time, or reloading speed). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

If an item level upgrade is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon increases its crit chance it will be applied before any damage from attacks increases. Slots is a new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined by its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its value. For instance, a common item might have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero quality items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. The player will still need to take each piece of gear they want to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine.
