The X10 can store the layout of rooms with iPath and AI See. It can also optimize cleaning routes to be efficient and thorough.

The X10's smart object recognition system also performs well and allows the robot to easily identify and avoid hazards such as power cords. It can be programmed to clean and replenish the battery automatically, which is an excellent touch. However, I found that the X10 can get stuck on some more thick carpets, which can cause it to crash loudly over them, and sometimes pushing its front brush into the rugs.

It's a great robot vacuum and mop however, it's let down by the confusing app. Eufy Clean's app is not as intuitive as the iRobot App which walks you through the process of setting up your robot up and teaches you how to use. It's still a great option but it also offers the possibility of customization for those that want to make the most of its capabilities.

5. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a new version of Switchbot's Mini robot vacuum. This latest version combines an anti-tangle rubber brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor and upgraded suction power reaching 3000Pa or more to provide better corner coverage and overall cleanliness.

Utilizing SLAM navigation and a user-friendly application, the K10 Plus cleans thoroughly and efficiently. The PSD sensor and rotary brush work in tandem to navigate furniture. The four-stage process of cleaning consolidates, lifts and sweeps debris from floors and carpets. The dust bin automatically emptys itself so you don't have to worry about emptying it frequently.

You can also mark areas in the room you don't want the robot to enter for pets or power cords. This is a common feature in most robotic vacuums and it's useful when you have specific areas in your home that require more attention than others.

You can set up the K10 Plus so that it returns to its base station after 60, 75 or even 90 minutes to empty its dust bin. This is a major improvement over other robots which require a return trip and manually emptied. It could help you save a lot of time.

In my tests, the K10 Plus had a very good battery life. It lasted 110 minutes on one charge which is much higher than the iRobot Roomba Combo Essential's 127 minutes.

The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, which makes it easy to place under furniture or in tight spaces. It connects via Wi-Fi, and includes Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri shortcuts.
