Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of purchase a robot hoover vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to detect objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, so you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best automatic vacuum cleaner robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which lets you schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't vacuum areas you do not want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop with your voice.

The design is also superior to the competition. It has a sleek, high-end piece that resembles toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal System is also self-emptying which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ quickly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able to collect small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't do this. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.

The j7+, although not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and can't clean the stairs, it's an option for those who need both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that use robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and sometimes it's hard to determine whether the update actually working until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best robot vacuum for the money choice is probably one that is a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. They also have a range of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model. While it's not equipped with some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent option for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto vacuum-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed it is done with relative ease. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for everyone but it can help you keep track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the most advanced available however it's expensive.

The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's the only robovac I've used that has done a good job picking up debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's not able to climb stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options on the market. Many eufy models cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive and has more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets with low pile and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at an affordable price point. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brush and turn it on, then plug in your charging dock. The app walks you through the steps needed to connect it to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located near an outlet and have enough space to move.

The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it is able to be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, with sleek black finishes and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The way the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning where it left off.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe eufy G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require as much emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container does not require emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.robot-vacuum-and-mop-combo-wifi-app-voice-robotic-vacuum-cleaner-with-schedule-2-in-1-mopping-robot-vacuum-with-water-tank-and-dustbin-self-charging-slim-ideal-for-hard-floor-pet-hair-carpet-2-medium.jpg
